Just Talk campaign - school resources

Tackling stigma, and making mental health relevant for teenage boys, Hertfordshire's Just Talk campaign launched on January 2018. Just Talk is a year-wide campaign, but we hold a campaign week on the third week of each November.

Based on national research, the Hertfordshire Health Related Behaviour Questionnaire (HRBQ), and a 2017 Hertfordshire survey on mental health that received over 600 responses from teenage boys, this multi-agency campaign has been developed to raise mental health awareness with secondary school aged boys. The campaign draws on what we have learnt to communicate relevant and meaningful mental health information for boys.

Girls are not excluded though, you’ll find all of the content we have developed can be used with everyone and will still have relevance for girls.

The resources on this page are all freely available to you.

Take a look at the Just Talk school engagement activities information for details.
