My baby’s brain If you work with expectant parents or parent/carers of young children in Hertfordshire, one-day practitioner training aims to equip you with an understanding of how brain development happens in babies and children, and how you can help parents, children and babies to form strong attachments that will encourage healthy development.

My teen brain If you work with young people aged 10-14 or their parents, the one-day multi-agency training for professionals, looks at changes to the adolescent brain, risks and behaviours.

The Ollie Foundation is a Hertfordshire charity funding suicide intervention skills training for adults working with young people. Training enables professionals to identify warning signs and provide a pathway to help combat suicidal thoughts. Find details here.

MindEd offers free, simple advice to help adults identify, understand and support children and young people with mental health issues here. Although it is aimed at professionals, parents and carers may also find the information helpful.

A free suicide prevention e-learning course has been produced by the Zero Suicide Alliance. You can find it here

Spot the Signs and Save a Life suicide prevention training is fully-funded for those working in the voluntary and community sector.
