Feeling exam stress? There’s lots of help and support

If you’re struggling with the way revision and exams are making you feel, there’s lots of free help and support on offer.

There are plenty of websites offering advice about revision timetables and having a good breakfast on exam day, but if you’re worried and it’s making you feel unwell, you might need some emotional wellbeing support.

Childline counselling app For Me launched

Childline has launched an app to provide counselling to young people in need of help directly through their mobile devices.

The app is called 'For Me' and can be discreetly installed on your phone because if someone happens to see your phone or iPad, they can't tell it's a Childline service.

It's free, it's secure and it's designed by young people for young people.

New team supporting new and expectant mums with mental health problems in Hertfordshire

Three mums who suffered mental ill-health during pregnancy have thanked the new Hertfordshire team who supported them through their difficulties.

The trio said they received ‘invaluable’ support from the community perinatal team, which was officially launched at Hertfordshire’s second Perinatal Mental Health conference on Monday 24 April. Around 150 Hertfordshire professionals who work with expectant parents and new families attended a conference updating them on national and local developments in infant mental health and perinatal mental health.
